[Click to View Gallery] — Another beautiful wedding on the shores of Lake Washington as this wedding took place in the Woodmark tent. The bride’s colors were black, white, with a touch of navy blue. The tent had been draped in white fabric, the black chivari chairs were tied with a white organza sash, the flowers were in shades of white, the ceremony was officiated by the groom’s uncle, and the ceremony was flawless – except for the unexpected light and refreshing rain that started falling as soon as the bridal party had processed. The sound of the soft raindrops hitting the tent was amazing! However, this is Seattle, after all, and the rain didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits and, in fact, most of the guests opted to stay out on the lawn rather than go into the ballroom for the cocktail hour.
The reception began in the tent with a plated meal and ended with dancing in the Lake Washington Ballroom on a 21’ x 21’ black dance floor. The DJ played just the right mix of music to keep everyone on the dance floor until the very last moment of the night.
Running through a tunnel of bubbles, the bride and groom boarded the Woodmark boat for a midnight cruise around the lake. This truly was a remarkable evening with the bride and groom thanking me endlessly for a job well done.
“Merry Beth was an absolute pleasure to work with! From the first meeting we knew we could trust her with the biggest day of our lives. Merry Beth is incredibly organized, creative, and went above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we dreamed of. Her time tables, check lists, and other organizational methods kept us on track with realistic deadlines, accurate accounting, and progress reports making sure everyone was on the same page. When it came to style, she was able to take our ideas, offer several similar ideas, and help us build our dream wedding better than we thought it could be. Her work behind the scenes, on the big day, is one of her best qualities. For example: the day of our wedding, while the site was being set up, there was an error with a vendor. Merry Beth fixed the error so quickly and quietly that we didn’t find out there had been a problem until several days later.” — Casey & Lauren Mangold
