[Click to View Gallery] — The Tango. Guitar Hero. Mah Jong tables. X-Box 360. Candy bar buffet. A live photo booth with props. Oh, and for added effect, LED lights on the dance floor. What a fabulous wedding! The bride was stunning in her white feathery gown, and then she changed into a beautiful Chinese dress for the first dance (a tango!). But, wait – there’s more! For dancing, she slipped into a moonlight blue gown with silver heels.
This was your perfect bride and groom. They were the nicest couple to work with and so very appreciative of everything on the wedding day. Their guests wanted for nothing as every hotel staff member and vendor was at their service the entire day.
The day started with a Tea Ceremony at 10:00 a.m., followed by off-site photos for the wedding party aboard a luxury coach to Alki Beach and Pike Place Market. The wedding ceremony was beautifully up-lit with pink lights to highlight the floral tubing and orchids. From there, the guests went into a cocktail hour and then into the ballroom for a four-course plated meal.
It was a very long day for the bridal couple, but they were exuberant as they left – thanking everyone profusely for “exquisite perfection”!
“Thank you for all the hard work you and your team put in to make this wedding magical, that’s the only word I have for how everything fell into place, it was exquisite perfection.”
“Merry Beth Turpin (Aisle of View) was our wedding planner extraordinaire for our wedding August 1, 2009 and we can’t recommend her enough. Merry Beth took care of us throughout the planning process, keeping everything organized and on task. She is a consummate professional, making sure that every detail and contingency are thought out well ahead of time. Our bridal party kept commenting on how calm we were leading up to the wedding — they seemed more anxious than us. We kept saying, “We have Merry Beth, she’s taking care of it”, and we really felt like we didn’t have to worry about anything. The day of the wedding all the guests commented on how this was the best wedding they had ever been to. Merry Beth and all the vendors she recommended did a phenomenal job from the hair and makeup to the lighting and decor, but the best part about it was that on our wedding day, we were able to relax and have a good time with our guests. All the details were being taken care of while we were off having a good time. I still can’t believe how it all came together so well, better than we could have ever imagined.” — Sophia, Bride
