The feel of country air and the beauty of the valleys at Lord Hill Farms is what makes this such a spectacular venue for weddings. Their new outdoor wedding site is beautifully crafted and makes such an incredible setting for a wedding ceremony.
As guests arrived at Michele and Brian’s wedding, they were offered a glass of lemonade, water, or wine while they mingled before they were seated for the ceremony. Their monogram had been placed into the lawn with rose petals to personalize the space for them.
This couple had met while playing in the University of Washington Marching Band.
Some pre-ceremony events that made this day special were a surprise toast in the bridal party rooms and shuttling guests from Bellevue hotels. Some post-ceremony events that were highlights of the day included a scrapbooking table, a same-day-edit of the wedding ceremony shown while guests were eating cake (a huge hit with the Bride and Groom), and a London Cab as the get-away car. Two French macaroon cookies were the favors at each place setting – each with a different flavor.
I loved this wedding in its simplicity and style. A great deal of thought was put into each element and the guests were constantly treated to a new view, beverage, or having the ability to be silly at the prop-filled photobooth.
Mother of Bride: Smashing success in our books by the way. It was EXACTLY what Michele wanted.
